The old silver ones or the 12 sided brass ones?

This Brexit withdrawal is going to be far more complicated than some may have envisaged! The main focus is of course on trade and immigration; but these smaller points - weights & measures - is equally just as important, and is as equally complicated (and probably quite costly) to execute.
I'm not sure that Brexit means changing weights & measures.

No idea. But I'm pretty sure there is some EU directive that suggests goods have to be described and/or sold offering both measures.

For all I know, BREXIT may mean the end of EU sizes & weights. So for example when you go to a shoe shop and check out a shoe size, it will probably just have the UK size, rather than both UK and EU sizes as we have at present.

The latter ruling could be abolished post-Brexit, along with all other EU derived measures etc.

Guess we shall just have to see what happens

Nothing will happen. BREXIT will die slowly, surely and painfully.

Zola my dear, at my age there is not much left on the bright side. Actually there is, my gorgeous little grandchildren have started to walk. Now I am looking forward to the "love you Granddad" words.

You wish! Its too late Red the vote has been cast to go against it would be a failure of democracy. For some reason our Euro 'friends' are desperate to keep the UK in the EU while the British are desperate to leave, I think that says rather a lot if you ask me. Auf Weidersehn, Adios, Au Revoir, Arrivedercci one and all! Do come and visit so that you can continue to look down your collective noses at us, you will always be welcome here.
