My favourite part of the UK is Cornwall, with its rugged coastline, amazing beaches, and quaint little towns. I would love to live there, if it weren't so expensive near the coast. So I hope to move to my second favourite place, which is...

Devon, which still has amazing beaches and coastlines. The coastline is not as rugged as Cornwall, but it is still really good. Has anyone ever taken the train through Dawlish? I'll have to post a video of it. It is one of the best train journeys in the UK!

My third favourite is actually the Lake District. The lakes and mountain areas together are beautiful. I only wish I had been on holiday there, when I went.

I've never been to the Cairngorms. I went to the Loch Lomond area once, and really enjoyed that. I've also never been to Snowdonia, can you believe?! I would really like to go, actually. It always looks good on the photos!

You're Welsh and you've never been to Snowdonia?

For me it looks like a more dramatic version of the Lake District, with the added bonus of medieval castles dotted all over the place. Four of the castles in north-west Wales are designated as Unesco World Heritage sites, that has to be among the highest concentration of Unesco sites anywhere in the world.

Instead of posting pics are we just allowed to post a link, or does that violate advertising rules?

I know. I've just never had the opportunity of going there. Mostly when you think about going somewhere on holiday, it's usually to a place near a beach (I know North Wales has lots of beaches too, of course).

Wales does have its fair share of castles - it's the same in South Wales too. There's almost a castle every 10 minutes, that you could go to! We've got Caerphilly Castle - one of the biggest castles in Europe, I believe.

This is the Dawlish Warren to Teignmouth (in Devon) train journey that I mentioned earlier, as one of the best train journeys in the UK. Shame about the cloudy weather...

Not as long as the link doesn't try to sell people something.

I've always liked videos of people driving around landscapes. It's a good way to put them into perspective.

It does look really nice. I just wish it wasn't such a pain in the arse getting between South and North Wales. You've gotta go via England, for the best route!
