Did you go and see Jamaica Inn, Dizzy? I went there on a day trip once.

Ah, the ponies! They have ponies on Dartmoor too. People are on about eating them though!!

I hope they don't start making Pony Pasties!

There were quite a few people at Jamaica Inn, when I went. I didn't think there would be many people there, but it was quite touristy.

^ Nice photos, above.

Got to say, that due to this thread about beauty, I sat last night and started watching Poldark on You Tube, season one and most of season two.

BEAUTY? Did someone say BEAUTIFUL! My oh my. He is one piece of gorgeous man. He doesn't have to do anything at all, just sit there. No ripping his cloak off, pulling off his shirt, galloping across the countryside.

He is handsome, romantic, brave, a bit too much of a rogue--and I'll take him! Thank you for the recommendation. Cornwall with Poldark in it is the most beautiful place in the UK.

I'm so glad you did. And dh was saying it was like watching paint dry. What does he know. Of course, he isn't able to appreciate some of it the way we do.

I can hardly wait to watch the rest of season two.
