I cant get my head round this one at all..... of how one man, a child rapist, was paid a large amount for information on people trafficking in Newcastle...OK there were many arrests but to pay this piece of scum is beyond reasoning surely... Be good to hear your opinions..
During the trials, the court also heard how Northumbria police paid a convicted child rapist – referred to as XY – £9,680 over 21 months to find out about the times and whereabouts of parties where girls were being plied with drugs and alcohol, to gather evidence for their investigation.

u7What was even worse was that the paedophile rapist they paid continued carrying out crimes and attendng court.

He was even given lenient sentences in Court for an array of activities during the time he was acting as an informer including fraud and attempted sexual assault on a 13 year old. In each case the authorities just let him off with a slap on the wrist.

Then again Northumbria Police Officers themselves have been in the papers for sexual assault and rape, supplying drugs, exposing themselves to children, working as prostitutes, assisting criminal gangs, credit card and id fraud, expenses fraud, armed robbery and robbery involving cash machines, having indecent images of children and numerous other such activities.

They had the worst record for dealing with complaints in the country and even when they mowed down and killed a young schoolgirl, going 94 mph with no lights in a residential area at night, an officer was heard to say one less scumbag. The same officer was later promoted and was later on a TV Show about Northumbria Police in her role as a dog handler.

Still better than South Yorkshire Police with Orgreave, Hillsborough, Rotherham and numerous other such dreadful incidents, one of their officers was jailed the other day for arranging people to have sex, so he could watch them from the force helicopter, and they have also recently paid Cliff Richard the compensation he rightly deserves.

Then you have the 'Met' in London where corruption is so rife they have untouchables such as the Hunt Crime Syndicate and so many bent coppers they can't deal with them all, this was highlighted by both The Sunday Times and the BBC Panorama Episode Cops, Criminals, Corruption: The Inside Story.

I think they just rate police forces not on how good they are, but on which ones are least bad.

As for guns, please for goodness sake don't give them guns.

As far as I'm concerned the £9,680 the police paid the scumbag was good value for money. Over 21 months the £9,680 the police paid the informant equalled the princely sum of £115.23 a week.

And the return on the police's investment? 18 scumbags are going to spend a long time in jail. The chances are, that without the informants help, those criminals would still be on the street and still abusing young girls. I'd say it was money well spent.

My advice stay away from both criminals and the police, they are often two sides of the same coin, indeed they probably play golf with each other.

Apparently he was also involved, and was also involved in Court cases whilst working as an informant, one case was for fraud, another involvng an attempted sexual assault on a 13 year old, in these cases and possible others the police managed to get the cases virtually quashed in order that he continue feeding them information about the sex parties.

He also fell out with the police and the defence tried to have the case thrown out due to the way the police had acted.

In the end 18 people were taken off the streets and a message sent out, but some have accussed the police of crossing the line.

Here's what happened in full.

Upsetting. This sort of stuff happens all over the world and people only seem to give a care when it happens to their own family/freinds in their own backyard.

I am a firm believer that the punishment for rape/sexual assault especially in the case of a child/ minor if proven guilty is physical castration or the death penalty in the case of a minor. This has been happening everywhere. The difference is in this case these people where caught ( which I am really happy about).

If this horrific stuff happens in places like the UK, USA and Canada... god only knows what horrific things are going on in developing countries like the ones certian men from our own countries like to vacation in for the sole purpose of sex tourisms. If consiquences for these crimes are not extremly high then this garbage keeps on happening.

You don't get it, it is happening only within a certain ethnic community, it's been going on for 20 odd years since Tony Blair initiated the open door immigration policy. People like you are part of the problem, you are inadvertently aiding the cover ups.

It's muslim communties that are NOT British, they should not be in the country in the first place. Hence the police need to hire a muslim sex criminal, to catch other muslim sex criminals... could not make it up.

Convict them then send them & their families back to Pakistan... end of!

Or not...& just keep repeating the same phoney "shock" when these crimes get uncovered. smh.

I watched a Sky News interview yesterday with Mohammed Shafiq the head of the UK's Ramadhan foundation. He said that some Asian men regard white girls as "worthless trash".
