Hubs and I are throwing around possibly locating over seas in a few years. UK is on our radar. Hes currently a brokerage investment specialist with a very large international firm but may move around to a different sector of finance. We've only just started talking about it so its nice to get first hand experience/opinions. Anyone have experience in the field and want to give some insight? Relocation within the company may be an option or perhaps changing to another company all together. Nothing solid yet for us as far as plans. We aren't sure how Brexit is going to affect the financial field there. We hear mixed things on it. Any opinions/suggestions are welcome.
The big issue in terms of the banks is Fintech and not Brexit, and London is increasingly becoming the tech and Fintech capital of Europe, and this can be seen by the massive investments in the city by the major US tech companies as well as Fintech and other tech start up's.
In summery, the big money guys from the rest of the world aren't worried about Brexit at all
