If one day the truth will ever emerge and if the connection with the Kremlin will never be proved, the egg in UK face will be epic....not that this will stop other similar political actions to happen (and the gullible masses to believe once again).....Iraq wink wink....

What are you talking about?

I guess you are used to Russian courts! With 110% evidence and watertight signed confessions. And like the voting where 200% support the incumbent!

Russians are so used to assassinations of politicians, businessmen and activists in their own country they get nonplussed when they find out its not an acceptable behavior in most Western democracies.
But there has to be a motive. Why on earth would Russia do it?? Please share your thoughts.

About being used to assassinations- truly, I don’t remember anything happened recently except Nemtsov.

Many do not have thoughts on this...just parroting talking points from the media.

Look at this exchange between Alexander Nekrassov and two other guests in this TV shows about Skripal....the two other guests talk like 10th graders at best....their supposed motivation is unbelievably laughable (and they contradict themselves)

Your country’s been interfering in so many political regimes, it’s hard even to count.

Personally, I’m a half Russian and a half Ukrainian, so I know and love equally both countries. And all what happened initially with Ukraine is mostly thanks to you. Putting bunch of your puppets (Poroshenko&Co) instead of legal government led to what we have now.

About the whole style of Kim Jong Un. Erasing diplomacy and trying to isolate us, of course you're going to have another N.Corea. So what’s the point?
It's not a joke at all. Every country has a right to complain about meddling, even those who participate in it. Russia also has a huge track record of interfering in other countries and one that goes back to the Soviet days. It's nothing new as practically everyone does it.

What exactly would classify as evidence though? Most people will have made up their mind upfront and are not likely to change it over time.

Exactly, that is the problem.....they did not even pretend to wait for an investigation.....we are going down a very dangerous path....I laugh at journalists that yesterday wrote that this "unprecedented show of unity" (hint: for many country it was not, this is mainly a UK-US move) probably made Putin realize that he went to far so we expect just some standard Russian protestation over the expulsion...oh yes, that; sright and today....Baam!! Russia response in kind and it also shut down the Saint Petersburg consulate....these idiots are sleepwalking us into a potential disaster....keep poking the bear and you will get mauled...

I'm actually asking it from both angles since you claimed that no substantial evidence was provided. What would you accept as legitimate evidence and how would you retaliate?

Intercepts, surveillance data, etc...
Now pretty much every terror organization that has a beef with Russia can take advantage of this, orchestrating murder attempts and disruption....because we will know immediately who is guilty....what a disaster...
This should have been handled in a total different way and then, when you are sure, maybe make it public.....the loss of credibility could be very damaging (the US and UK still pay the price of the fake Iraqi weapons of mass destruction)....no to mention the fact that if this blows up in Britain's face, Russia (or much more likely, a piece of the Russian security apparatus not controlled by the Kremlin) may take advantage of this and start cleaning house in London with a government that lost any credibility to point fingers....

If no definitive proof is found, this could be end up being the end of Theresa May government.
