And that backlash against France was an idiotic backlash started by the hardcore George Bush supporters, those who actually supported his "little" invasion, because they were upset that France actually stood up in opposition to that invasion. But even then there were plenty of us feeling embarrassed by the scenes of shop owners dumping French wine down the drain and restaurant owners calling their French Fries "Freedom Fries". But a someone else said, we welcome all, most of those foolish people from several years ago have forgotten about their dislike for the French, and all are welcome here- Brits, French, anyone!
