Hurrah !
So the Premier Inn numbers were right after all ....
The weird thing is, I could NOT get through to the original number (-9684 number), but the group reservation number (333 one) DID work. And now I have an email address I can use too, which is always helpful!
I usually dialed with 011, I’m surprised to learn you don’t need them.
But I thank @Roscoe for posting the link that has HolidayPirates. Guess what? I’m going to use a lot of the cheap trips there from UK.

Yes, that's what I normally use too (as do others who have responded in this thread) so I had no idea about the "alternative" 00-44 for 333 numbers. But it worked (and a thank you to Roscoe!!), and so now I know for the future, and those things are what matters.
Basically says many local telcos,, and corporate PBXs have not been modified to allow call to 333 numbers.
" If you do need to try and call the 0333 number from outside of the UK then you can try by calling 00 44 333 and the remainder of the telephone number. "
Already solved (please read previous posts), but could be good info for someone else in the future, so thanks!
