The British:

Monthy Python, Life on Mars (totally need to get it on video), Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels (and Snatch, for that matter), Mr. Bean, Dry Humor, Scones, Bangers & Mash (Oh, yeah baby!), and those wonderful accents.

'Mericans:

Entreprenuerial spirit, Cheeseburgers, American Football, Whiskey, vast landscape to roam, Easy Rider, the "why can't I?" spirit, Stone Temple Pilots.

I'm up for this, but so many choices......

Bourbon & a nice country walk (between pubs of course) on a hot summers day. With a bag of pork scratchings. And a nice pint of Timothy Taylors. Or Theakstons. You get the idea.

Britain: Sense of friendship. Once friends, friends forever. Politeness. Lovely puddings

U.S. (though I have never lived there, but I have met many North Americans here in Madrid). They rise to a challenge without thinking twice and they are generally very positive.

I am sure there are many more things I can think of for both Countries but I do not have time now.

British movies and British actors in movies. They can use the english language at a more elegant level that's a joy to listen too. Like...

Sense and Sensibility (1995)

As a Brit who's lived and travelled in the U.S. for a few years:

UK: Real ale, great curry, proper chips, red phone boxes (they still exist), sense of humour, great architecture, great regional accents, fantastic public transport (in comparison), the fact it's nothing like America.

US: Fantastic interpretations of European beer styles, Mexican food, cheap petrol (yes!), red rock country (UT, NV, AZ), huge outdoors in general, New England (where I live) in general, the fact it's nothing like Britain.
