A British fella I met one time here in Boston was astonished to see fruit at the supermarket in the dead of winter.
I told him it was still warm in California.

We have during the winter in the supermarkets in the UK

Thanks for the answer, but peas served that way are pretty much nonexistent in the restaurants that I go to...our biscuits and pudding here are different than what you guys know so the question was valid. Thanks again though.

I haven't read all these posts, but I would hope that everyone involved with something like this, regardless of nationality, would realize that they are not dealing with the average citizen of whatever country in question when they hear something stupid. I've met lots of smart people and lots of dumb people from many different countries.
