I am British, but my husband is not. I have 2 babies that were born in the US. Do they qualify for dual citizenship?

If you are British by birth, yes. Just apply for their passports from the British Embassy if you need to relocate to the UK. If you are not planning to do that you don't really need them. They will only need US passports if you are just vacationing abroad.

Your 2 babies born in the USA are definitely American citizens. In order for you to take them outside the USA, you will need to get American passports for them.

The answer to your question is "yes".

I have dual citizenship (UK/US). You should always enter/leave the USA on their US passports. If they are US citizens, they cannot enter/leave the USA on a foreign passport. I also always use my US passport when I am leaving the UK to fly back to the USA. I always enter the UK on my UK passport and I use my UK passport when traveling in Europe.

You should also know that, as your children were born outside the UK, if, when they grow up, they also have children who are born outside the UK (your grandchildren) then those children will not have an automatic right to UK citizenship.
