It's one thing I love about the UK and its fashion consciousness - even fashionable rubber boots are available LOL!

Okay so the birds here (Northamptonshire) are singing like crazy! The other night I came home from a walk and they were still singing away and that really gave me the spring feeling - reminded me of summer nights, sitting out back with a glass of vino and listening to the birds singing! I am guessing the singing goes hand-in-hand with nest building and mate-attracting and therefore . . . . SPRING! Weeeeeeeeeeee!

I can't believe how so many of my plants maintained their leaves throughout the winter! I even have one (lone) flower that bloomed all winter. (My roses kept bloooming into December) How is that even possible? I love the weather here!!! Makes me want to go out in my garden and chirp LOL.

Those are my mossy oak hunting boots, i thought "why not" lol. They are great in the snow, mud etc.

We've had a lot of robins singing and song thrushes too. Got snowdrops growing too! Won't be long now
