More videos! I'm assuming Los Angeles has lots of streets like this. And this is just the south side of the Chi.

Another thread where West Coasters need to justify where they live by asking the East Coast what we think...

we gave our thoughts, posted the statistics, and you guys are still fighting? Why don't you guys just accept the fact that LA will NEVER be considered urban by Northeast standards. No matter what you do, you will just be another spread out suburb to us.

What I find particularly amusing for LA boosters is that they think they live in a Parisian type of city. It's the furthest thing from Paris

No rebuttal against factual data. YouTube videos. Humorous.

Um, what statistics? You've posted YouTube videos.

It takes Philly 1980 sq miles to come up 5.5 million people. L.A. gets to that number in under 500 sq miles. NE cities (minus NYC) are lil pipsqueaks next to L.A.

Who said that?

It's much more pathetic that there are people that are willing to spend ALL DAY disputing facts about a place they have been twice - with Youtube videos, Google Street Views and second-hand articles taken way out of context as evidence.

Look a video of Boyle Heights street life! So now we can establish Boyle Heights as hands down the most urban/vibrant area in LA - because there is a video of street life.

The reason why this thread has reached over 100 pages and 100 responses is that the LA boosters keep responding with trite, arrogant responses to real world facts.

You guys will NEVER be the East Coast, no matter how much you wanna be us. LA is urban, by West Coast standards, which I've already admitted. But by East Coast standards, you fall way short. Leave it at that.
