This place was a 19th Century outpost of the law, ton of history in the area as well.
Lawton, about six miles/10 km east of me, home of singer/songwriter Leon Russell ("Tightrope", "This Masquerade"), Cameron University, the nearby Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge (first refuge in the US), and Fort Sill and the final burial place of Chiefs Geronimo and Quanah Parker. The photo was a screen shot from a KSWO news story detailing our recent rain events. It's a VERY uninspiring skyline.
