This Dormition Cathedral shown in the Pic at Vladimir, Russia is a World Heritage site. It probably served as a model for various Russian Church cathedrals. Great site with historical significance.

I had a chance to visit Vladimir and other USSR sites in the late 80’s, just before the fall of the Soviet Union. The nearby city of Suzdal has beautiful wooden churches with onion domes. Visited Tallin (an earlier guess) on that trip as well. An amazing experience.
