-Folks just throw trash on the ground
-psychos all around you
-Dirty streets
-rude people
-constant cars honking their horns
-Ever been in the subway in the summer months?
-Living amongst too many ppl, to the point that you can't pick your nose without 10 ppl seeing you.
-No privacy
-Loud and inconsiderate neighbors
-hardly anyone speaks English
-can't find parking.
-rents are too high

Look, I love visiting Manhattan during the weekends for the nightlife or to just hangout; but at the end of the night I love taking the train back to the 'BURBS to my nice, quiet, affordable apartment where parking on the street is plentiful and I don't have some dope living above me blasting hip hop with a subwoofer until 3am.

There are some neighborhoods in the outer boroughs that are quite nice and not nearly as bad as your city living description.

Since you seem to pick your nose a lot (enough that it is a concern to you to find a good place to do it), then yes, live in the suburbs. It will save us from having to see you and being grossed out.

Who cares, and what is the point of this thread? Perhaps if the OP lived in a city he'd have a life.

Can you imagine any of us going into the Suffolk County forum and starting a thread of why I would never live in the suburbs?

You didn't strike a nerve with me personally.....like I said, these types of threads are becoming quite common on here. But what was the objective, if you mind me asking?
