I don't know who that person was, wasn't me, in my own head maybe I will dump something out, but not on here, I'll debate with my parents if I have something to dump.

Anyways, I'm able to see why my parents who have lived in the suburbs all there life want to stay, doesn't mean I have to or will take the same path as them, I'm very different from both parents. Some of my parents siblings live in whatever city, and have stayed put.

I don't look at myself wanting to move to a city as some kind of rebellion, for me it is as simple as I have those kind of taste to where I enjoy city life.
My parents both live in the suburbs but I consider them to be pretty environmentally-friendly.... My mom lives next to a big shopping center so she walks to the grocery store and lives next door to work, so she walks there. A lot of time my dad takes rides his bike to the commuter bus, which takes him to the AFB he works at, where he rides the rest of the way to his office. The funny thing is I don't think either of them are really doing it to be "green", they just prefer to do things that way.

I think I must take after them, because my biggest reason for trying to walk / take transit everywhere is more exercise than conservation. But like I mentioned in my first post, it's not a bad kicker either.

Haha ya, the green argument isn't the reason I want to hop on the city-life trend, I just like it. I like exploring on foot or bike when available, and having places to explore.

There was another one just today on a thread about suburban living, or some such. They're all the same. Plus, I was "sensitized" by several such posts on a city forum earlier today.

Anyone wanna play a game? How about, guess where the photos I posted on post #12 are from! And #22 if you want to guess more. Hint: all are from North America.
