For anyone interested in urban issues-these are 2 good blogs (free)
Rogue Columnist
the latest blog is about how downtown phoenix used to be

this one focuses on Arizona in particular and also has links to good articles about urban issues through other news sources and blogs
Rogue Columnist: The City Desk: Urban issues and sustainability

The Urbanophile
Another good blog that discusses urban issues in the USA and internationally with a lot of focus on the Midwest.

For a few years I ran an urban affairs blog on Dayton...it was sort of a personal blog that was about music stuff and other things that interested me, but it was mainly about local urban and regional things.
