They get moved from the City vs. City forum all the time. Seems like threads constantly get moved from over there.

Yea, Mexico City is more bustling than either LA or Chicago by a huge extent. One of my favorite cities in the world, really.

Chicago has a higher crime rate, and is the more dangerous city at this point. You don't really hear about kids killing each other in South Los Angeles the way you hear about it in South Chicago.

Believe it or not, Los Angeles has become a pretty safe city - and violent crime is down double digits this year over last, which was a record low year for crime.

Yes I agree, south Chicago is total garbage. I never go there. When I talk about Chicago I only think about the north side. Let's just pretend Southside Chi-town doesn't exist . Ok now for LA. What's up with all the meth-heads? Whenever I read a review about a town in Cali (bc i actually love Cali and I'm trying to find the best place to live there) I always read, "great city, but the meth-heads have taken over" All i hear is meth, meth, meth, gangs, and cost of living is too high. Cost of rent is double compared to Chi. But I will say that California is beautiful with redwoods, mountains, coastal tows. Chicago is flat. I prefer California.
