On the plus side, I'm familiar enough with Philadelphia and D.C. to know I could handle them. San Jose and San Francisco are full of techies like myself. And Miami has beaches, and is near enough to my mother to stop her complaining about me being far away, but not so close she'd be in my hair :-)

Traveling a little bit in the rust belt this winter made me feel a lot better about Baltimore. It's like checking out the clinetelle at Golden Corral to make yourself feel better about putting on a few extra holiday pounds.
