If the buildings are as tall as the artists renderings make them out to be, I'll be able to see Hudson Yards from the west side of my building; my current office faces north but is on the east side (good view of the Empire State Building), so probably wouldn't have a good view of Hudson Yards.

Here's what's under construction in Waterloo, Ontario.

144 Park, I think it's on the 7th floor now.

The BarrelYards, a couple blocks from my house. One building is almost done, a second is close to topped out and a third is about halfway done. It will have condos, rental apartments, offices, retail and hotels. Two more buildings are supposed to start construction this spring.

Sage Condos I, currently topped out.

203 Lester, just about done now.

King James Common, currently topped out.

260 Regina, currently on the 14th floor. (ugh)

Luxe II, a bit past the halfway mark now.

18 James St, probably about halfway done by now.

183-187 King St N, currently a little above grade.

322 King St N, I think they're probably at the excavation stage now. It's the building on the left.

280 Philip, currently doing site prep

Here's another view of the World Trade Center (from Brooklyn):

a broader view:

the tallest building on the center right is a high rise luxury condo building (about 1000 feet). The crane fell during Hurricane Sandy, creating extra chaos.

A number under construction in both Houston and Dallas currently. Around 20 of that height and will post locations once I had time. This is a fairly low bar height wise

Le Seville, helping turn around a once blighted area of town.

The large Bassin du Havre complex

Griffix, affordable market housing at its best, a new build with 1000 a month 2 bedroom units.

Finally, Icone, set to begin construction in a few weeks.

McGill Superhospital

And that's just the beginning of the boom, a ton of great projects are in sales or in advanced planning stages!

We have plenty of construction going on in Saint Paul but its usually low rises.

Over in Minneapolis they have 2 residential towers under construction.

1368 LaSalle

( 36-story apartment tower could rise near Loring Park | StarTribune.com )

Nicollet Residences or Nic on 5th

( Downtown luxury apartment tower moves forward | StarTribune.com )

Love all these residential buildings being built in our downtowns.
