Seriously though, even from a purely accounting perspective, is it better to subsidize 1million trips on bikes at $1 per ride or 1 million trips on transit at $6 per ride?

It's easy to be against things. But when you're against everything and don't offer any realistic, easily implementable solutions you just wind up being like the folks at Reason - hypocritical ideologues.
