Have not traveled to Buffalo yet. After visiting Syracuse and Oswego NY for a weekend trip in the fall, I think I would like it. I in general like that region of NY, lots of cool old building neat city designs. They had issue's like most East coast cities with Highways being built the wrong way but really It's nicer up in that area then you would think.

Looking at a map the downtown layout is pretty good but, pretty normal once you get outside of downtown. Like many cities they have a waterfront cut off by a highway, if they could fix that it would help alot.

We have had below normal snowfall all winter and had a 71 degree high today. There has been little snow cover the whole month of February. Even when there was a terrible snowstorm with 7 feet a few years back, two thirds of the metro received little snow.
