Default Mass Transit in the midwest?

Do any midwestern cities (besides Chicago of course) have a decent bus/ mass trans system?

Cleveland, Minneapolis, and St. Louis have light rail systems. Not too sure about anyone else.

Decent - Minneapolis, St. Louis, Cleveland

Step down - Cincinnati, Chicago suburbs

Minimal - Detroit

If you are expecting to be able to get everywhere on mass transit that you could get to in a vehicle, you will be unhappy even in Chicago.

In MOST cities, you can rely on public transit if you choose your place to live (and if it can get you to work). And you will often take 2-3x more time than driving.
