That seems a little low for an LPN. My daughter is a medical assistant and started out at 12.00 a month ago in northern Utah, Layton area

Then LPN should be $17-$21 then. Can you ask her what the pay is? I assume she works in a Doctors office. But, maybe she knows?

She does work in a doctors office ob/gyn, but I will see if she knows. Most of the LPNs and RNs are in the hospitals or in the surgical centers etc

I work at the University of Utah in a critical care area with two years experience. I started at $22.00an hour last year. Terrible pay, sorry! Certainly doesn't make up for the cost of living.

I made $45.00 in California plus good staffing! There is no nurse to patient ratio mandated by law here and no nursing unions, so you have to be prepared to work harder for less pay. Sorry.
