Talking Laws I need to know when taking rifles into Utah

We are moving to Utah, we have 8 rifles, do we need to get any special permits or licenses for them. Thank you!

Dear Tovarich Heavinski, Utah, unlike the Socialist Free Workers Democratic Repubic of California, has no laws restricting the ownership of rifles beyond federal law. Because Utah is a counter revolutionary state, you may in fact own a machine gun, IF you follow all federal regulations in aquiring the weapon. In short, Utah has no silly Assault Weapons Ban.

My only question is; if you possessed eight rifles in California, how did you escape the re-education camps?

LMAO! Now this is funny! Yeah, I concur with you re: The Peoples Republic of Kalifornia. I also own about 12 handguns and rifles and shotguns. And I will be moving to Utah, hopefully next year. I've already bought a home in Highland. And guess what? I'm only 5 miles to the new Cabela's. Heaven!

In fact, I think it is required by law to own some sort of firearm in Utah. At a bare minimum, a hunting rifle or shot gun. If you were moving to Wyoming said firearm would be required to be displayed in a rack in the rear window of your pickup.

You can go to the NRA website and get information on gunlaws of the state, and of the states you'll be traveling through. I have moved all over 9 western and rockymountain states. The best way to do it. I put them unloaded in the front of the u haul and forget them until I get where I am going. I have a large gunsafe and it is always the first thing loaded in the truck. I makes them very hard for someone to get to. Unless they steal the truck or want to unload the whole thing. And I got to warn you. In the state of Utah, your goint to have to get used to being treated like a citizen of the state and not a servant. The freedoms you'll be entitled to will be strange. Just try to not act like your from Kalifornia, too much.
