I currently live in Mesa Arizona and would like to escape the intense heat. I was in Ogden last spring and thought the Wasatch was a beautiful back drop to the city. Cost of living is less than SLC and looking for a small bungalow type house. Any pros and cons would be helpful in my search.

I guess it depends on your lifestyle. I think it probably is similar to Mesa in many ways. I wouldn't expect culture shock by any means. Dating might be harder, but with the internet it shouldn't be hard.
