I need a one bdrm apartment within a 10 mile radius of BYU. I'm going there for law school starting in August. Am looking for something under 600. Already looked into the school's options but want more to choose from. Also, if anyone knows of non-denominational churches in that area, I need those, too! Thanks!

Should have plenty of choices in this price range in Provo or Orem. Check Craigslist for Provo. Find one close to the non-denominational church that interests you (there are a few).

ksl is more popular for BYU approved housing as it's owned by the Mormon church and doesn't do personal ads.

KSL is an NBC affiliate too and basically a regular TV station.
But yes it belongs to a group of TV and radio stations that belongs to the LDS church.

Is it accurate to say that Provo is one of the more affluent areas of the entire SLC metro ? Driving down that "University Blvd", one kinda gets that feeling of very upscale neighborhoods ?

No, it is lower income with all the youth. It has nicer areas though.
