You got it, 860 So. Glendora Blvd. We had a cash and carry drive through arrangment at least until 63 when we moved to Nebraska. That occured after someone tried to kidnap me. Stalkers are not new to today's society.

Someone tried to kidnap you??? Holy cow....no i guess it isn't anything new but we sure didn't think about those things then.

We must be the same age..we moved to Glendora in the summer of 66, I was going into 8th grade and went to the NEW jr. high Sandburg just off Barranca north of Foothill....Goddard had been the only jr. high since then. my sister went to LaFetra...

It is a small world...

I went to Gordon and Stanton grade schools. They were close to the dairy which I walked back and forth from. We lived up in the foothills, and both my parents left me pretty much on my own down at the dairy during the days. Your right you didn't worry back then. I remember taking a pillow case out on halloween when I was under 8 and staying gone for hours until I couldn't drag the pillow case home easily. No one checked the candy. I was in 8th grade in 66 as well.

We lived near the boys military school. I remember spending summers with the front door open watching the wildfires march towards our house. We never had a fire hit, but some came close.

So where did you go to school and end up? Like I said, its a small world and I think we are all in So Utah
We lived in Sierra Madre 1970-1979. I was bussed to Pasadena schools (Edison Elementary, Eliot Jr. High & PHS), though we moved away after my sophomore year. GO BULLDOGS!

Did you ever eat at McDonald's on Foothill, near Santa Anita Dr.? I worked there.

Default I moved here three years ago from New Mexico

and Utah has mostly been a disappointment. I am originally from Texas which is a very conservative state and feel that I have a good background, good parents, etc. Utah is a place that seems to really bring up a lot in that area-- family, etc.-- in a way that no other place has for me really. I am a very shy person and have never dated much or had many friends, and consequently am not married. I have been mistreated everywhere I have gone in Salt Lake, and even at work, because of this, and at some point may even need therapy to "get over" the damage this place has inflicted on me. I lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for several years without ever being harassed the way that I have been here. There is no question in my mind that the abuse in this state stems from the overwhelming control of the Mormon Church which apparently has a subtle type of stronghold over the thinking and belief systems of the entire population that lives here. Honestly I have never witnessed anything like it in my life. I ever quit a good job at eBay because of the discrimination. I have been treated with disrespect in every area of town and on a regular basis. It's like people here have some kind of religious axe to grind or a chip on the shoulder. It just seems to go on and on wherever I go, whether it is comments about my clothes (I dress very nicely which upsets some people, but rarely in a sexy way which I think also causes problems), general appearance, etc. I feel a real hostillity from people here that I never encountered either in Texas or New Mexico. It's like people are mad about something and I have no idea what that might be. It's gotten to where I actually feel a little sorry for the people of Utah. I may not be married but I am from a good German background, am a warm and friendly person, and have nothing to be ashamed about. I was raised to live and let live and to mind my own business. In case the people of Utah don't know or need to be reminded, that is the AMERICAN way!

Sounds to me as though Texas or Alburquerque would be ideal places for you to live. I was born and raised in California, and based on what you have written, I think you would probably like California as well.

There is no sense in continuing to suffer under the Mormons. Move, find that theripist, and begin the life you so richly deserve.
