The majority of my lds friends do not like him, and are not planning on voting for him. I have found that those who are lds either really like him or really dislike him.

i've noticed the same thing. there aren't too many mormons that are neutral about romney, from what i have seen. i tend to be surrounded by those that really dislike him, though obviously there are more that do like him.

My personal reason is that I sincerely do believe he's out of touch with the concerns of most Americans. I think he is a decent, moral, good man who simply can't relate to the majority of us. (I don't like what he did to his dog, either. )

I think you're pretty spot on with why most don't like him. There really is something 'disconnected' about him.

How well do you know him to say that?

I vaguely remember the dog story but it never came out how much is true about it.

i also don't think he's all that honorable or decent. but that is just my subjective opinion. i can't listen to him for more than 3 minutes before i get sick of the deflections and question dodging. note that this is not really different than more or less all politicians, but that is kind of the point.

The dog story is true, he and his wife admitted it. Their spin was that the dog liked riding up there.

Obviously, I don't know him at all. I'm simply expressing how he comes across to me. Sometimes you sense sincerety and sometimes you don't. With him, I don't. I could be wrong. I'm not always the best judge of people.

That is fine. I think most if not all politicians are that way.
