Default Aurora Utah??

We are considering moving to Aurora, UT. We have 3 children that are elementary age.
We would ideally like a rental property to start with. Once some nice property becomes available, we would like to build a home.
I don't see many (any) new subdivisions going up. I guess that's how it stays a "small town" Though we would love to build in a new subdivision.
Does anyone know who to contact for rentals? We've been keeping an eye on the Richfield paper, but haven't seen anything. Also, what are the pros and cons of Aurora? Are the people nice? Will they accept new neighbors kindly? Are the kids there nice?
Thanks for any info.

I failed to mention that we live in the south end of Sevier County, so our county will remain the same. But, this is a big move for us

Default Aurora Utah

I dont know about any rentals in aurora because most people pass down hrough the family there houses. If you could buy a house there there are great properties for low prices. Aurora is a great place to live. I havent lived there before but i am familiar with the area because the majority of the aurora cemetery i am related to and people in the town i think. The schools are in richfield because it is such a small town. There is a river that runs through town and a nice side park also. It is a great place to live in. There are amaing mountain view also. Aurora has a rich history. It wasc established by my great great great grandparents John White Curtis and Matilda Miner Curtis.

There are now two new subdivisions going on in Aurora. One is by the Aurora City Park with great housing potential. We moved from SLC to Aurora about 12 years ago and love it. Everyone knows everyone and watches out for them, and they always wave. They welcomed us with open arms and would with anyone that moved here. The kids go to Salina Elementary, which is about 10 miles away. There is school busing. It is nice, as Salina Elementary, North Sevier Middle School and North Sevier High School are within a block of each other. It is great if you have older children who need to walk or bus home with younger siblings. Their school was rated one of the top schools in the State from their testing scores. They are always doing field trips and yearly performances for the elementary grades, so it gives the kids a lot to look forward to each year. The teachers are the best!! We have never been as happy as we are here. Good luck. Kathy
