Chez Betty in the Copper Bottom Inn or Chimayo in Old Town. i would call first to make sure they are open during the shoulder season.

Back from wonderful Park City! Hands down favorite restaurant in Park City is the Mustang. Very expensive, but well worth the price plus the service was outstanding. Had the best scallops (and I'm from New England) I've ever had, hubby had Veal special and said it was fantastic. Son and daughter in law both had Sea Bass that was the best they'd ever had. Overall, highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice to know! Thanks! Tell us about the rest of your trip. (I'm assuming you didn't just come to Utah to eat a good meal on Main Street in Park City. )

Went to Park City to visit my son and daughter in law. It's the most beautiful state, weather was perfect (low 80s daytime, high 40s/low 50s at night), nice dry air, clean. Too bad Park City has so much snow in the winter, I'd most assurely consider moving there. We went to Sundance, expected it to be a city like Park City; it's not. It's about 8,000 ft UP, really just a blip in the road (a beautiful blip), had a delicious lunch there, then a harrowing ride down the Alpine Loop. The scenery is spectacular although the road's a bit scary. We went to the Olympic Park which was really impressive. The museum there is very very interesting, even if you don't ski. There's a nifty steam train ride in Heber City that runs through Provo Canyon. Played golf at the Wasatch Mountain course - again, spectacular scenery; so nice I didn't even care what my score was. The only down side of the whole trip is it's a full day of travel for us coming from New England, but well worth it. Airline travel isn't much fun at all, but at least all flights were on time (important when connecting). A really wonderful trip!!

And we had perfect weather for you too! Glad you had a nice time with your family.
I forgot that Mustang was still open but have not heard anything negative about them either so glad you had a nice meal.
I lived up there from 92 to 08 and worked in Old Town for probably 7 ish years and at DV for 10. It seemed for awhile that restaurants were there one season and gone the next. Glad to see local/off seqson support keeping the small spots going!

My son lived on Daley Ave from 1998 to 2007; they had bought one of the few remaining miner's houses, did some remodeling, then an builder offered them 4x what they paid for it, so they sold and moved to Heber where they currently live. The whole area where they lived has changed quite a bit, but the architecture of the house there is fascinating. The first time I visited them, I stayed in a B&B in Old Towne - just love the whole area.
