Default Midway, UT ??

Southerner looking to move to a higher altitude. Can anyone comment on the school situation around the Midway UT area? I have 3 kids, 14, 12, 10 so we want a good school district but not one thats in SLC or Provo. We are moving from Atlanta because its just gotten so BIG we feel like our kids are only a number on the school register.

There are good school districts in both cities, but the best ones tend to be in higher income areas...as if that's a surprise. We have friends who live in Alpharetta, GA and love the schools there. That is a ways out of Atlanta though. Our last trip to downtown Atlanta was the exact ethnic opposite of Salt Lake City. I found it very interesting and educational. I've never been asked for money is many creative ways!

Well, I'm way beyond youngsters but know enough about Midway (Heber City) to know the schools are decent...this area is kind of the "banana belt" of this area, mild climate relatively speaking. And if your kids are wrestlers...well, this is the home of Cale Sanderson, olympic gold medalist.

Default Midway school

There is a charter school in Midway; Soldier Hollow Charter School. They held the winter olympic cross country skiing there. Great interaction with the smaller classes.
