Default August wedding in Moab

I'm getting married in Moab at the Red Cliffs Lodge in August of 2008. Has anyone been married in Moab or attended any weddings there? Any suggestions of local vendors? I would like to take advantage of the local economy as much as possible. Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.

i honeymooned at the red cliffs for part of the vacation. awesome place. moab itself is amazing. i don't really have anything constructive to say since i don't know the businesses in the area--mostly i'm just posting to say congrats, and good choice on a location.

Default Follow up on 2008 wedding

Hi, I just ran across an old post of yours about your Moab wedding. I'm getting married in Moab at Red Cliffs Lodge next year and would like to hear about your experience there! Any tips for me about working with the lodge staff? (I've already put down the deposit.) Any locals you found to use that you loved? I'm doing a lot (almost everything) myself and especially interested hiring some 'day of' help for setting up etc.
Thanks
Tamara

Default Moab wedding

I had to call off the wedding last summer unfortunately. But luckily things are going well with the same guy again and there may be a wedding there next summer. Congrats on your wedding, you picked a beautiful place. Call the lodge and ask to talk to either Gloria or Sandy, they will help you get in touch with the person there that has the ins on the weddings there. She will know all the local resources. I stay in Moab frequently and always go to The Red Cliff's Lodge. I have never had a bad experience there. Everyone there is so friendly and happy to help. The service you and your guests get there is sure to be superb. If I think of any suggestions I'll let you know.
