It's on a trail that goes out west from there. You can access it from across the street from the radar or from the Farmington Ranches subdivision.

I actually don't quite know where they are...we were guided there by my friend's grandfather who was in a separate car, and I wasn't driving. There was a geocache in the narrows, however, so that might assist you in finding it (maybe some geocache website has some way of tracking them down or something, I don't know).

All I know is that they were 15 to 20 minutes away from Washington city. There were no fees or anything to reach there, either, so I don't think it was near Zion National Park. We kind of just pulled up near some house and climbed under a fence somewhere...I don't know if it was ever a popular destination or anything. Maybe some locals would know where they are.

EDIT: It might help to note that there were some Native American petroglyphs on the walls of the narrows, like so:

Did you get the pictures of the St George area? I recall someone was going to get some for us to check out the area.

Default Awesome Photos!

All these years living in the southwest and never knew how amazing Utah was. This is my only photo and not nearly as amazing as the rest posted here but This was taken from the pool of a house we rented in St. George last year. It is our inspiration and motivation to move there.

Yes the contrast between green and red rock is really striking.

Lucky you, southwesternnative! You got to rent an entire house with a pool in southern Utah, right next to a golf course? How long did you stay?

I'm looking forward to my trip there, only one week left!
