Sorry Dogmom, I can't see your pictures either. It just says "This image or video has been moved or deleted"
Here are some I was looking at on flickr.

Here is Angels Landing. I'm gonna be there in less than a week! I couldn't show you the pictures of the climb up to the viewpoint, but they sure look scary!

Bear Lake is often called the "Caribbean of the Rockies", and I can see why! I wish we could have fit that into our trip this summer, but not enough time.

Park City in the Fall.

Bridal Veil Falls
I'll make sure to upload some of my pictures when I get back next week. I can't wait!

Dogmom,
I've been reading about you selling your house for awhile now. I haven't responded because everyone has said so much already. My husband and I love the St. George area. We used to drive to Vegas from Wisconsin, yes drive..lol. We always loved stopping in St. George. We loved iy from the first time we stopped there. It's where we always ate lunch. We have driven there at least 5 times in the last 10 years. We now fly. When we were in Vegas last year we took a day to go and see the sights in St. George and acutally looked at a house. We really have our hearts on moving there someday.
We have looked at the pictures you posted of your home. I can honestly say that if we had the money to move there, we'd snatch your house in a second, seriously. The area you are in is fabulous and your house is just gorgeous! I just wish we could afford to live and work there. Knowing the job situation, we can't live there unless we can afford not to work. Hey, maybe we'll win the lottery this weekend. If we do, expect a DM...LOL!

Ok, I will be awaiting your DM, lol! I hope you have fun in Vegas, that is a fun field trip for us...we like to go into 'town' as we call it, have lunch, do some shopping, stuff like that...
I do hope the house sells soon, we are really tired..we just dropped the price again, yesterday...A house is only worth what someone will pay, they keep telling me. if we could stay, we would, it is a lovely area, too hot in the summer for me, but a lot of folks relish that heat!
Again, have fun! Thanks for your kind comments, too.

Yep, our house....cacti is a no brainer, the palm trees are my neighbors, they really don't do that well here, it gets too cold for them. I don't know who on earth thought this area would look good with palms, lol. They all have to be wrapped in the winter..That's a pain to me, but whatever floats their boat, I guess!

I saw this photo on flickr. Some guy decided he'd plant a bunch of palm trees in his front yard in Bountiful, up by Salt Lake. During the winter, he had to wrap em all up. They look funny.
We were lookig at hotels in Springdale, and we noticed some hotels have them growing all the way up there, too!
