Yes I actually was at the DATC when I snapped that picture. Do you live in Kaysville?
The second picture is in Ivins. I liked how clear the ski was and the clouds above those rocks.

I think you captured Snow Canyon in photo #1 where the small but fast wild fire went through 2-3 years ago just outside Layton. I think I still can see the burn scar??

It's possible. I know I was in the DATC parking lot when I took it as I was waiting for my daughter to get out of her class.

this is a view of the waterpocket fold along the burr trail in capitol reef.

this was taken in crack canyon, in the san rafael swell.

that is me up there on the rocks. this is at the chokepoint of surprise canyon in capitol reef; i climbed up around it to get past it.

wells fargo, the antichrist.

this is a sunrise behind the mountains around salem, where i live.

more burr trail. the photo doesn't do it justice, but with the dark clouds so low, it seemed almost like a tunnel down into the glen canyon rec area.

highway 24, going into capitol reef. this was my favorite photo from that trip. the colors were so amazing; it was like a rainbow painted onto the stone.

the stairs outside of the office that i work at in provo; any of you that are familiar with the gandolfos on the corner of center and university ave know this building.

my second favorite shot of my last capitol reef trip. this is outside of the park, between torrey and i-70, along highway 24.

this was the article that i wrote about the trip.

this site has those photos and some more of my work, including links to the full galleries of photos from the crack canyon and capitol reef trips.
i'll put more up eventually...

Gorgeous Aaron!
We went to Capitol Reef a year or so ago...it was when there were wildfires, and we had gone to Goblin Valley. We had to leave because I couldn't breath...so went to Cap Reef on the spur of the moment. I did little-to-no hiking, but my H and the kids did. We will have to go back, it was so beautifu!
