I think it's from the use of an online photo/image hosting website. I don't use them, but I think that's how it works.

Nice pics! Where were they taken? I like the little parade photo. Was that a small town celebration or what?

I just got back from an incredible trip through Utah (driving through on the way from LA and Vegas to Denver). Here are over 100 pictures I took (as the passenger, I wasn't driving and taking pictures at the same time ):

Flickr: greenrivermoab's Photostream (flickr link, 7 pages of photos, you can click on each to see full size at 800x600 resolution).

The first few photos are of Mt Charleston, Nevada, just 45 minutes outside of Las Vegas. A few of Las Vegas and Mesquite Nevada, then the bulk of the rest are all of Utah. We went up I-15 from St George to I-70, including a stop at Kolob Canyon/ Zion, then I-70 all the way to US-191 to Moab, stayed the night there, checked out Arches and Canyonlands national parks the next day, then back on the road, I-70 east to Denver. The last few pictures (which in the chronological dating of the flickr photostream page show up first) are actually in western Colorado.

Absolutely incredible journey. I LOVE Utah! I wish I could be back there right now!

Awesome photos! Great time of year to see Utah - most of the really dry areas are turning green.

You must have a great camera. My camera doesn't get pics that good.

Thanks,

The first three were taken in St. George and the last one was taken in Springdale. It was the St. Patrick's Day parade.

Love your photos! I am going to have to go to those areas - the water fall at Sundance and the aspen grove in Park City in the fall. Can't you just imagine the color in the fall?

Thanks for posting these!!

Yes Jaceepc.....they would be spectacular in the fall. So many different hikes in this area, some very Alpine in nature, others softer rolling hillsides covered in grasses and sage (Great aroma after a rain)......

The latter landscapes remind me of the Highlands of Scotland (sans sage, of course)....But a few well placed Aberdeen Angus Cattle and a Whitewashed Stone Cottage and your'e there........
