No, don't live in Springville, but Hobble Creek is my favorite place to jog or walk in the whole valley. The walking path there is great and has some nice grades and hills along the way. And it's just beautiful up there. Makes all the work of jogging seem like no work at all!

The 2nd snow fall on the mountain tops already - these are taken on the Alpine loop (in back of the American Fork / Provo valley mountains). Most of the leaves have changed and are falling off already up in the mountains, but just barely starting down in the valleys now.

The valley and base of the mountain are starting to light up in fall colors (they are pretty brief but still beautiful here in Utah). The aspens are yellow and the oaks/maples are oranges and reds. Cottonwood trees are still green for the most part. Took some shots yesterday on the little cottonwood canyon trail- its been in the 70's and absolutely gorgeous this past week.

emu742, is that your motorcycle in the first photo? What kind? We have a Yamaha FJR1300 touring motorcycle and we love to go "leaf peeping" on it.

Thanks for posting these awesome photos, and NickMan7 also. Awesome photos of my favorite state (I am partial, of course).

I wish it was yours too. Wasn't Sunday just an awesome day - temperature wise? We went for a ride up Parleys - a perfect motorcycle weather day!
