It's that time of year in Utah where our temperatures jump around from 40 to 70 making some days feel like winter and others summer. These were taken on a 75 degree day just a couple days ago. Trees are shedding their leaves rapidly now and the skies are getting hazier from inversions (air trapped in the mountain valley).
Neff's Canyon
Looking out across Holladay towards Magna in the far distance
Looking Northwest towards downtown and the Great Salt Lake (you can see Antelope Island in the background ) from Neffs Canyon. Scrub oak (the short scraggly looking trees here) are a large majority of the natural trees in much of Utah.
A nice sunset that evening - this is from Sandy looking west
Looking south at Draper from the Sandy area - you can see the new temple glowing on the left on the mountain bench. The line of lights near the edge of the mountain on the right is traffic heading north/south on I-15 (past that mountain corner is the Provo valley area)
