I took these pictures last week after hiking on Mount Olympus, which is above Holladay, Utah:

This shows the north side of the Salt Lake Valley. You can see downtown and Antelope Island.

This is the south side of the Valley.

This is the trail I hiked up.

Another photo of the beginning of the trail.

Ah - I've done that hike many, many times. Great hike - but wow what a workout. I don't even bother in the summer with it anymore - too hot! But spring, fall, and winter are great. I'll add my pics soon.

Nope, it's right on outside of Provo just before you start going up into the mountains. There are like 6 or 8 of them. I think they are to generate power, but I don't really know.

Maybe those are the windmills right before you enter Spanish Fork Canyon.

Please sticky this thread.. this much beauty should not be lost in the mix.
Awesome pictures everyone.. wish I still had mine when I drove though there a few years back.. the red rock and beauty is still burned into my minds eye. Some of the rest stops cut into a pocket of rock with green trees casting shadows the contrast of color I can still see in my memory.. these pictures help remind me just how much I loved the area.
