Default Is there a Moab thread here?

We live on the road, my dog and I... ( The Oasis Of My Soul ), going on 2 years now and we (he does too!!!) want to spend 2 to 3 months in Moab... March 15th +/-?... to...
Having been in kitchen for 40 + years I was even thinking about working 2 to 3 nights a week and trying to find info on where to look... maybe chamber of commerce?
Anyhow... any info is good! I also do some photography... but zillions out there take great ones... so we do not depend on that at all!!!
Hi everyone...

Be well... Ara & Spirit

Hi beemerchef,
I read your blog on you and Spirits travels all the time.

For info on Moab in the Utah forum, I suggest you do a search, then chose advanced search, put in Moab and chose Utah from the forums to search.

Wishing you guys a speedy return to the west and you take great pictures.

Oh, when you get the results from the search, just scroll thru them and pick out the Moab threads that interest you.

Moabadvertiser.com

This is THE place to look for employment, rentals etc. It's a weekly paper, all the locals read and advertise in it. It comes out on Wednesdays. Good luck.

Lived in Moab a number of years ago for about 9 months. Definitely plenty of things to get good photographs of! Found jobs just by being there. Actually made a few good friends. Go and enjoy! And make sure you take the good ride up the Colorado River! A road made for a good ride, a photographer, and his pooch.

Beemerchef, great pic of you with the beemer, sidecar and Spirit. That's quite a light set up on that rig, it must make you look like a semi coming down the road at night. I was in Moab on a short visit last October, and there's no shortage of things to see in the area. March to June would be an ideal time. Moab seems to have a big variety of restaurants and cafes that cater to the visitors, far more variety than any other town in eastern UT. Depending on what kind of cooking you specialize in, there should be something that might fit your talents. Good luck and happy trails.

I don't the he follows this forum any longer. Ara and spirit never lived in Moab, probably were there less that a week. I think currently he is up in MT. You can follow his travels on his web page.
