There are several bed and Breakfast inns in the area as well as a developed resort across from the marina. The lake also has many developed and undeveloped campgounds around the shore. ORE runs a set of condo's on the south that may be available for rent.
There area several outlets that rent boats and waverunners between Garden City and Laketown. The two largest beach areas are sweetwater on the southwest corner and the north shore in Idaho. I am not sure but I think that there is a day fee for the north shore.
There is a large cave north of the lake in the National forest. The park service provides tours. Not sure of the spelling but I think it is Minnetonka.
