Our family knew we were moving to Utah and thought we would be moving to Ogden. We were excited because there is actually a Jewish community there and a larger one in SLC.

G*d had other plans and now we are in Sunnyside, UT a very small town outside of Price. We have been in the area now for about a year. We haven't been able to find out if there is anyone in the area who is even Jewish. It would be nice to meet other in the area.

Oh dear. I honestly can't imagine how isolated you must be feeling. I'm afraid I can't answer your question, but I'd try to get in touch with the Congregation Kol Ami (in Salt Lake) and see if they can advise you. I have a hunch that outside of the Wasatch Front and Park City, you're probably out of luck, but they could probably give you a better idea of the situation than anyone on this forum.

Speak to the Chabad in SLC. I lived in South Jordan and a growing community there but not sure outside of there or city.

Rabbi Benny Zippel. They are amazing, very welcoming and reignited me at least wanting to be part of the community again for things like Yom Kippur or Rosh Hashanna.

Contact number is 801-467-7777

Website is Chabad Lubavitch of Utah - Your Source for Judaism & Everything Jewish in Salt Lake City and Utah

They also have a Facebook page

Happy New Year!
Park City has a nice and growing 25%/year congregation.
Many people drive up from SLC
Being Jewish in Utah is like, being the one black kid at a Bar Mitzvah.

What a bizarre comment, especially in light of the many thousands of black Jews in the United States alone. Not to mention the fact that Jews are pretty urban folk and probably have more diverse social circles than the average American.

If anyone is still reading this, I second reaching out to Chabad or Kol Ami.
