Talking Moving to Cedar City- need a home

We are moving to Cedar City in the next month and are looking for a home!

I am looking to rent a 4+ bedroon home for under $1000. a month. I have a mellow old dog and we might bring our two cats. I am not too picky about which area. I haven't found a "bad" area yet.

We would also be interested in a rent to own home. Or if someone is in a situation where they need to move, we would take over payments. Or if there was a no money down home. In these two senarios I would be willing to pay more a month. (We are keeping our home in California, so I don't have 20% to put down right now. We can't wait to buy a home!)

Hopefully someone has some info to help us find a home. We are excited to leave California and experience Cedar City!
Thanks!!!!!

The Spectrum serves the St George area and does not seem to have as many rentals listed as does The Pioneer Shopper. Found our rental there.

Default needing a home

Thank you, I will check those out. I have also been looking on Craigslist.com
I have not been impressed with the property management companies there. I guess they don't need the business. They are not very good at calling back and following through. I am still excited and can't wait to get there!

Dont worry about the "no response" from property managers. No response seems to be kind of a local problem! I agree with the property managers not doing a very good job. It might be because there really is not a big market for property managers. A lot of places for sale, but rentals seem to be handled privately, even though it is a college town with a lot of students renting. Most of the students rent houses right near the university. That leaves the outer edges of town for the rest of us, but that is only 3 miles from downtown!
