I was reading this thing from the Bureau Of Labor Statistics and it was saying last year 2007 Utah was in the top 5 of all the states for both job growth and low unemployment.

As with the rest of the country, home construction is in the "pits." Commercial construction is quite strong right now, especially with the revitalization projects going on downtown and the new office/condo towers going up in the valley.
