I'm not Canadian, but I support the Leafs (runs for cover...)
Does anyone know if you can you get the NHL games on cable / satellite in Washington County?

Default pregnant and craving poutine

Everyone cringes when I mention the saucy goodness of a poutine. I've been living in utah for five years. Origianlly from southern ontario I crave some things that are unique to canada or more specifiacally, Windsor Ontario. New York Fries poutine, shawarma plates for under $10. And now that you mention it Presidents Choice made my life so much easier (and tastier). Any ideas for a poutine craving in utah?

Default Poutine in SLC!

Hey, I'm another Windsor, Ontario-native now living in SLC.

So far, I've found two restaurants in the SLC area that serve poutine.

One is in West Jordan and it's called Papipa's Deli. It's pretty authentic as far as poutine goes (they use actual cheese curds). I think the owners are from Montreal.

The other place is called Legends Pub and Grill, but their poutine is served with shredded mozzarella (so not authentic).

Default Nova Scotian in SLC

Hey there,

I'm a Nova Scotian in Utah looking to see if any groups of Canadians get together anywhere in Utah or Idaho (I'm back and forth). Feeling a little culturally isolated.

If so, find me on FB and reference this board in the message.
