Hi! Right now my boys are in the Jordan school district. One of them is in the ALPS program (an advanced learning program for kids who test high). We are considering a move to Suncrest. Is Alpine a good district? Do they have programs like this? We were told our kids could go to either Alpine or Jordan schools up there but I'm not sure how accurate that information is. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm in Alpine school district. There is an ALL program (advanced learning) that sounds similar to ALPS. You have to test into it. That's for grades 3-6, I think, and then there's another similar program for jr high kids. I don't know about high school. This is a good district, but I don't know if you can choose which district you want or not. You might try calling both school districts and asking them. It might depend where you move to in Suncrest.
