Default New Medicare patients welcome??

Hi:
I have been considering a move to Utah (probably in the area around Hill AFB.) Are there primary care physicians taking NEW Medicare patients? It is becoming difficult in some areas to find a doctor for senior citizens.
Thanks.

Mike

Both of my parents are on Medicare and haven't had any trouble finding new doctors. They do have a supplemental plan through BCBS, though.

Hi:
Thanks for the info. I am retired military and have Tricare as a secondary. In some places, however, even that combination isn't good enough.

My mom had Tricare and had no trouble at all finding doctors or pharmacies in the Salt Lake area.

Hope this helps!
