When we visit Nevada, we take saline spray (no adverse effects for us) for our nose and I like Tre Semme Heat Tamer spray. It works really well in all climates,I've discovered. Plus, if you'll be there an extended time, deep condition once a week.

Keep hydrated, meaning water - - alcohol, caffeine and sodas dehydrate a body. Hair, use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner - - especially those that have SPF's. Keeping your hair tucked under a hat is always a great idea too.

I do an olive oil treatment once a week, I also use coconut oil when I can find it. I useally warm it up then put it on my hair over night then shampoo out the next morning. Most people useally leave it in for only 15 min, however i color my hair so I like to leave it in over night.

In the last year I've been using a humidifier and it has helped ALOT! For skin too. The first few months I was here I regularly used vaseline in my nose! Drink lots of water, and bring it with you.
